Children
Cope with Divorce (CCWD)/Transparenting is a four hour educational
program for parents about the needs of children during and
after divorce or parental separation.
Changes in family structure require additional parenting skills
or “transparenting”. This seminar is designed
to teach these specialized skills that all divorcing/separating
parents will find useful.
For parents involved in custody cases, CCWD/Transparenting
meets criteria required by family court judges.
CCWD/Transparenting will help you respond to your child’s
needs. You will also learn how to have a cooperative co-parenting
relationship. How you adjust to divorce and the kind of relationship
you have with your child’s other parent is crucial to
your child’s adjustment.
The CCWD/Transparenting seminar will help you learn about:
• Co-parenting Skills that benefit Children
• The Divorce Process
• How Children React
• How Children Can Adjust
• What Parents Can Do to Help
• How to Handle Visitation
• How to Get Help
