About the Program

The Family Violence Intervention Program works to end the cycle of domestic violence by educating abusers and victims. This is an educational program that is conducted in a group setting. Classes are held in Greenville, Greer and Simpsonville.

Participants may be voluntary or come from other referral sources, such as the court. Couples who are living together may attend groups on the same night. Separate groups are offered for participants under a restraining order.

Information on parenting skills is provided so that parents can learn how children are negatively affected by witnessing violence.
