Child & Adolescent Counseling
Children thrive on communication, and oftentimes when something is wrong in their lives, they have a hard time expressing their thoughts, feelings and fears. They need a safe place where they can work through their challenges. We offer a confidential setting, and our experienced therapists guide these children as they address any issues they might be facing — at home, at school or with friends.
Second Chance is a FREE prevention program designed for youth (ages 10-17) and their parents to address the improvement of communication skills and to strengthen parent/child and child/peer relationships. In ten (10) workshops, solutions to such common challenges as poor impulse control, aggression, bullying, inconsistent school attendance, and illegal substance use are discussed. A parent(s) or guardian(s) is an important piece of the puzzle and must attend Second Chance with the child.
